About Gentleman Jim’s

Enjoy thirst quenching cold draft ales, ciders and lagers along with a full drinks menu, 30+ different gins and an exciting list of seasonal cocktails. We offer a huge selection of drinks regardless of location, be it in a barn, field, marquee, woods, racecourse, on a private beach, or at a country house.

We cater for weddings, birthdays, celebrations, corporate events, festivals and fetes. Our customers include: the Jockey Club, John Lewis Cambridge, St John’s College Cambridge, Grand Arcade Cambridge, Fraser Hart Cambridge, Barclays, Reach Fair, Fen Edge Family Festival, Milton Country Park Autumn Festival, Mill Road Winter Fair & Newmarket Food and Drink Festival .

Our job starts with you and the event you are hosting: taking time to understand what is needed so we can offer the best options that make sense for your event. There couldn’t be a more perfect setting – you, your guests and Gentleman Jim’s.

As well as a unique bar hire, Gentleman Jim’s also has a 45m2 stretch canopy. With our stretch canopy an event will not be ruined by inclement weather and guests can still enjoy the outside venue.

Products and Services

Gentleman Jim’s provides a full drinks menu at competitive prices. We can offer up to 5 different draft ales, ciders, and lagers with up to 15 serving taps. We have a full list of spirits, champagne, prosecco, wine, cocktails and soft drinks. All our drinks are served cold, and are fully refrigerated. We are more than happy to add to our wide drinks selection to cater for your individual tastes and events e.g. mulled wine and ciders for colder days. We can get your favourite cider, ale or lager ordered for your special event – No two events are the same with Gentleman Jim’s. We do love a cocktail – we can make you a bespoke list for your celebration . We offer a wide selection of wines. We use elegant, shatterproof, recyclable/ compostable plastic glasses.

GJ’s offers a variety of different packages from a guest paying bar, a prepaid bar, a voucher service or a combination of all three.

We’re always happy to talk about how we can best serve you. To save the date a booking fee is required.

Gentleman Jim’s is run by Matt who has is own Personal Alcohol Licence and will organise, where necessary, a temporary event notice. We never want to stop a good party! However, we have to be guided by local licensing and venue restrictions. We will discuss this in advance with you.Gentleman Jim’s is fully insured with Public Liability Insurance.
